What we’re about

P.V. is a family of Christians who are a part of the larger family of believers here in Portage la Prairie and around the world.

We have not been officially called a church for more than 10 years giving us a short but full history. We are small in numbers but have a big vision for all that God wants to do in us and in this city. From the first day till now it has been apparent that He has had a calling and a purpose for this fellowship. We knew then as we know now that seeking Him with whole hearts needs to be out first priority. We therefor place a big enfaces on the act of worshiping God together.

There are a few other things we do together (check out the Upcoming Events Page for details), such as having a good biblical teaching time, but the purpose of all of it is to build faith together. We believe that God has a destiny for each one of us and for the whole church. He is calling us to fix or eyes on the leader (Jesus) who is walking with us toward that place.

We also believe that each person in Christ is has a calling and is able to do the work of the ministry as they are built up (See Eph 4:12). Therefor we highly value each individual not elevation one over another.

We therefor also place a strong emphasis on the leading of His Holy Spirit as He walks with us toward the destiny He has.
